What Critics Are Saying
RISE gracefully tells the story through a combination of ballet and aerial performers. The staging and choreography is stunning and easy to follow. The story–-truthful, harsh, real–-takes the audience along and presents a story through dance that anyone can follow.
Choreography creates a tale within the acts which is well written and executed… Fun personalities come out in the characters of the performers which adds an extra layer of entertainment onto an already packed show… If you’re going to see just one non-theater show, this one has it all.
From This Pointe On is more than a witticism; it is an open hint to the playfulness of this dance “variety show.” Audience members can expect the joyful blending of various dance styles (classical and contemporary ballet, modern dance, tap, jazz, Irish step)…
